I have been a volunteer with Horsepower for 6+ years. I first heard about this place when my Rotary Club made a contribution. I was impressed with the programs and compassion HORSEPOWER had for people that live with challenges, where the horse can give support and improvement to their being. Soon I became more and more involved and now am serving on the Board of Director's.
I’ve taken a few lessons, so I could know and understand more about the behavior of the horse. I also help with things around the 43 acres that may need repair and upkeep. We have a 19 stall barn, covered arena , outdoor arena, farm house, office, veterans barn, hay barn and a dry stack for shavings and waste.
Every time I go out to HORSEPOWER I come away feeling great about what our programs give to children and adults. Very positive environment that just makes you feel blessed.
