HORSEPOWER for us is the best part of our week! It feels like coming home because it’s a place Charlie feels welcomed and showered with love. Charlie spends much of her week in therapy and doctors appointments, where she works to combat the struggles of Rett Syndrome. When Charlie gets to come to HORSEPOWERand ride Trixie she is able to feel a sense of freedom- freedom from her wheelchair and freedom from Rett Syndrome. She gets to just be a girl and her horse.
Charlie’s parents love horsepower because it brings their daughter pure joy, core strength, and high confidence. We all leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
