Becoming a PATH Instructor

If you are a certified instructor or would like to become one we would love to have you on our team. More instructors mean we can offer more hours of therapeutic classes and thus reach more students.

All of our Instructors are certified PATH International Instructors and have attended PATH Approved Instructor Training Courses which include topics such as human behavior, psychology, anatomy, disability instruction, facilities and equipment, tack and special equipment, the therapy horse, lesson plans, mounting, dismounting, volunteer management, teaching techniques, and administration.

Instructors work closely with the parents, caregivers, and therapists to set goals for the students on an individual basis. These goals range from increasing balance, self-esteem, self-worth, and social interaction to physical therapy, speech therapy, and recreation.

If you are interested in becoming a PATH Instructor, please contact us and also visit the PATH International web site for more information.
