The HORSEPOWER Club was designed to engage students in meaningful
and important tasks, to work toward developing friendships, cultivate ethics of responsibility and to promote a healthy service ethic among our
young leaders of tomorrow.
Members of the club learn to lead and sidewalk in therapeutic riding classes and even have the chance to teach a class under the supervision of a trained instructor. They will also have the opportunity to learn barn management, horse care and teach their new skills to those with special needs.
Here are some photos of our club members having fun and working hard to achieve their personal goals as well as supporting the goals of HORSEPOWER. Most importantly, they are making a difference in our community and fulfilling the goals and dreams of those with disabilities.
